A popular Moscow tradition that was established in 1977. The Saturday morning event celebrates local farmers, artists, craftspeople and musicians by providing them with an opportunity to interact directly with the community and its visitors. The Market is located downtown on Main Street and in Friendship Square every Saturday, May through October, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Latah Trail Foundation (LTF) was founded in the spring of 1998, by a handful of people with a vision for safe, non-motorized transportation and recreation along the former Moscow-Arrow rail line.
The jewel of the University of Idaho’s lush, landscaped campus is the 63-acre UI Arboretum and Botanical Garden which fills the valley south of the President’s Residence on Nez Perce Drive – against a backdrop of the tilled, rolling Palouse hills.
The Museum is designed to provide a self-guided exploration of exhibits that include a theater; a hands-on Kid’s Area; a library & archive featuring books, magazines, and videos; and the Apalousey Trading Post gift shop. Exhibits themes range from the early evidence of spotted horses in art and literature, to the relationship between the Appaloosa and the Nez Perce Indians, to the highlights of the modern Appaloosa Horse Club.
